  • One-on-One Treatment

  • Dry Needling - Dry needling, also known as intramuscular stimulation, is a treatment therapy that uses thin, threadlike needles to penetrate stiff or knotted muscles that are injured or causing pain. The treatment focuses on musculoskeletal “trigger points,” which are tight bands in muscle tissue that may lead to pain. These trigger points may also be the source of a limited range of motion and loss of flexibility. Dry needling is used in addition to an exercise program to relieve muscular pain and stiffness while improving the abilities of those muscles to contract and relax.

  • Cupping

  • IASTM: Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization - IASTM uses a variety of instruments on the body, including flat and curved bars, rubber balls, and brushes, to apply pressure directly to tight muscles or tendons. The application of that pressure breaks down scar tissue, relieves inflammation, and stimulates healing underneath the surface of your skin.

  • Manual Therapy

  • Blood Flow Restriction Training - Blood flow restriction training can be defined as a brief and intermittent occlusion of arterial and venous blood flow using a specialized device while at rest or exercising. Using this technique, you can exercise using significantly less resistance and still achieve significant gains in muscle strength and muscle hypertrophy.

  • Kinesiology Tape (K-Tape) - Providing pain relief and support through everyday activity and recovery.

  • Aquatic Therapy

  • Tailored Exercise Prescription

Wellness refers to the overall state of being healthy and balanced in various aspects of life, including physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. It encompasses a wide range of factors that contribute to an individual’s overall health and quality of life, such as nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, social support, and self-care practices. The goal of wellness is to achieve and maintain optimal health and well-being, which can improve one’s quality of life, prevent illness and disease, and enhance overall functioning.

Performance, on the other hand, refers to the ability to perform specific tasks or activities at a high level of proficiency. It usually applies to a specific domain, such as sports, work, or academics. Performance can be influenced by various factors, such as skill level, training, motivation, focus, and goal-setting. The goal of performance is to achieve a specific outcome or goal, such as winning a competition, achieving high grades, or meeting work deadlines.

In summary, wellness is a holistic approach to overall health and well-being, while performance focuses on achieving specific goals or outcomes in a particular domain.

However, optimal wellness can often lead to improved performance, as good health and balance can enhance one’s ability to perform at a high level in various areas of life.

Direct Access

Direct Access allows physical therapists to treat patients without being seen by a doctor or physicians assistant or nurse practitioner first. You do not need a referral to go to  physical therapy.

Why did I need a referral in the past?

Some clinics have policies in place that require a referral prior to treating you, his is the facilities rule not state legislature. If you want your insurance to pay, you need to play by their rules. Some insurances require a referral for physical therapy for it to be covered. Calling your insurance and asking if this is necessary ahead of time will improve your knowledge of coverage.

If my insurance requires a referral, does it matter where I go to obtain that referral?

Your primary care practitioner would be best to prescribe that referral, as they might know you and your health best, however any doctor can write a physical therapy referral.

“We believe that true healing begins when expert clinical care meets a supportive, community-centered vision for your health.”
